I’m writing to you today to encourage you to express yourself in all areas of your life!
When was the last time you truly allowed yourself to be seen…be heard…?
What you have to say…your message you want to share with the world, matters.
It matters a lot.
Finding a practice or an outlet that allows us to fully express who we are, and how we experience the world, is vital to our mind, body & spirit wellness. Without it, the self-care practices we incorporate in our lives to feel calm and nurtured, won’t have the same impact on the nervous system that we’re seeking.
Without self-expression, self-soothing becomes just another numbing activity.
The key is listening and allowing.
So, how do you begin to express yourself in a way that feels good for you?
One of the best ways to do this is to begin by asking yourself this:
“What moves me…what inspires me?”
Take your reactions, responses and experiences of the world and use them to add colour, tone and depth to your day; whether that’s through writing, or drawing, or cooking, or gardening… anything that makes you feel light inside.
This is about opening your sleuth gates and allowing your thoughts, feelings and observations to flow through you. Aaah feel how good that feels!
The beauty you create by being connected to your essence, lights the way for others to do the same.
